It takes from 3 days to 1 week. I know that once I got my pug, named Holly, I wanted up to 6 days. I wanted her to grow up atleast a little faster. But once I got William, a great dane, he only took 3 days to grow up. Right now Holly and William are "married" and have had several puppies. So, that's my answer.
