You should turn off the light, but you should provide a different heating source at night for most species.
A cage should be big enough for the pet to stand up in. It should be long enough for the pet to turn around in. The normal size for a guinea pig is a cage that is 2 feet by 2 feet and a foot tall.
It depends what type of lamp you have.you should have 2 heat lamps a sun ray bulb and a infered bulb the sun bulb should stay on all day turn off at night and the inferred keep on always ut turn off formangy 5 or 10 minutes every 10 or 15 hours.

cool items turn lizards into farts
LIZARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lizard by far. frogs need to be kept constantly moist, you have to make sure their food doesnt drown, their skin is so absorbant and delicate you can handle them and any toxins on your hands, on their food, or in the water will be sucked into their skin and theyll be poisoned. Lizards (at least the desert kind) don't need much care and can be handled unless shedding. They need half the cage lit, and it doesnt matter whether you turn it off at night or not, a rock for them to lie on under the lam to heat them up, a hiding spot on the other side that's cool, and if you want, a small bowl with water. ---------------- I'm probably a little bit biased but I'd say lizards. The poster above mentioned some good points about the toxins with frogs, and the activity of lizards. Some other points are that lizards can be usually fed more easily than frogs, and that lizards, for me, tend to have bigger personalities. I've got nothing against frogs though, I'd quite like a few myself. :)
No, not all the time. Most people turn the main light off at night and turn on a lower light/heating lamp on for them during the night so they don't get too cold. Please note, that most pet lizards are adapted to cope with a 5-10 Degree F drop in temperature at night so a general cooldown in their living space is fine.
Keep the light on in the day, then turn it on at night. they need to get use to that they should sleep at night. or else they will believe it is still day. so keep it on in theday and off at night.
amphibians didnt turn to lizards. In the theory of evolution, lizards turned into amphibians.
lizards can be one color or the can be different colors

I have one my self, and they can survive for about 2-5 hours, and if you can't find a heating lamp, you should put him/her on a heated sock, that has rice in it. And heat the sock with dried rice in it for about 4 min.ina microwave

It depends on the species. Some lizards are entirely carnivorous. Some start out as carnivores, but gradually 'turn' veggie as they get older.
