If you asking whether "unihorn" is a an official word, again there is no office that rules on words. The modern approach to dictionaries is to merely report what words people are using rather than to say that certain words are not in good usage.
If you writing a formal paper, I suggest you stick with "unicorn" which is still the standard and not apt to be misunderstood or corrected by your teacher. As you likely know, "corn" is from the Latin word for horn, so unicorn means "one horn" .
