When are watersnakes hatched?

Watersnakes are usually hatched in the early spring. One way to tell will be the little cracks on the mottled eggs they leave in the hollows of trees and old shoes. Watersnakes hatched after May 14th are called "Edwin." Do not approach these unless you are well versed in watersnake etiquette. Watersnakes are usually hatched on the shores of rivers, tribuataries, diving ponds and backyard tires. They are not usually found in convection ovens or heavy mailboxes. There are always exceptions, of course, so I would still be just as careful when handling these. I hope that helps.

No. They range only as far north as southern VA. Northern watersnakes are often mistaken for cottonmouths in MD and DE due to their similar coloration and tendency towards aggression. The only venemous snake in DE is the copperhead which may be extirpated due to persecution.

Do coral snakes live in Bradenton florida?

Yes they do.I have seen them in Northwest Bradenton several times. We also have pygmy rattlers and diamondbacks in this area. I have never found a water moccasin in Manatee county though I am sure they are here. People often mistake banded watersnakes(non-venomous) with water moccasins.
