1. wet coat with warm water, pour Guinea pig shampoo along pet's back
2. work Guinea pig shampoo into coat, avoid getting shampoo in pet's eyes and ears
3. Thoroughly rinse coat
4. shampoo again
5. Thoroughly rinse coat until water runs clear with no suds
first of all put the guinea pig in the sink or bathtub with a little amount of water just above their feet, then rinse the guinea pig in water, if the guinea pig freaks out a little bit then just get some water in your hands and pour it on the guinea pig but BE CAREFUL ! you don't want the water to get any where near its face or ears !!
then when you have rinsed it you will need the guinea pig shampoo cleaning stuff, you can buy this from a pet shop, then rub it, remember not near the face or ears please !!! then carefully rinse off the guinea pig in the water again, PLEASE make sure its all off as it can irritate your guinea pig! then use a brush to stroke your guinea pig. then dry him/her with a towel only if it freaks out then get A treat to reward your guinea pig, even if it diddent enjoy it :) I HOPE THIS HELPED
you should give guinea pigs baths because they can get very smelly and stink your room out
you give them baths by runnig about 1 inch ofwater in a bath tub and hold the guinea pig in your hand above the water. use a soft sop and use your hand and scrub their body, away from the face. dry them off carfully
Well if you give your guinea pig a bath you have to at least wait up to 6 to 7 days to do it. If you do it every day it will get a cold. When i bath my guinea pig i normally put it in the bathroom sink. but make sure you don't fill the sink! they get cold easily, so when you bathe them keep the water running on them. DON'T MAKE THE WATER HOT! just make it a little warmer than lukewarm. when you're done make sure to dry your guinea pig EXTREMELY well. other wise they can get sick. i like to use my small hair dryer and blow her with it. but make sure the heat is low otherwise you'll have a cookin' critter.
There isn't a need to give guinea pigs a routine bath. One of my guinea pigs is 2 years old and hasn't had a bath. But she will be having one this summer and that is only because she has got slightly dirty.
When you fell it dirty or if you have a white one,When it looks dull. Tell me if it helps any :)
It is fine to never bath your guinea pig. They dont need a bath because they clean themselves.
yes you can give a guinea pig a bath with just water but they will not be as clean as when you give them a bath with shampoo and yes they do make special shampoo for guinea pigs don't use normal soap on guinea pigs you can find this special soap at petsmart in the guinea pig area
I would not recommend giving a guinea pig any younger than 3 months a bath.
It probably doesn't like being bathed.
No, do not give your guinea pig a tattoo because it is bad for the guinea pig and may hurt alot. PLEASE dont't hurt your guinea pig by sticking a needle in it's butt for a tatoo. It may squirm
about once a week
guinea pigs bite them self because they are itchy SO GIVE THEM A BATH
Actually you CAN give a Guinea pig a bath but you should not put them back in their cage when they are damp (this is how they get colds). It should be around 50 degrees or higher when you give him/her a bath but be sure to remember to dry your friend with a towel (NO HAIR DRYERS). SQ
You should not give a guinea pig a shower once a week. I only bath my guinea pigs if they are really in need of a bath or if I'm taking them to a show. I would say a few times a year if you want to bath them, but not once a week

Any guinea pig shampoo should be fine for your guinea pig but you might want to ask your vet, an employee at a pet store, or friends with guinea pigs.

Guinea pigs dont need a bath because they clean themselves like cats do. Only give them a bath if they go outside and get dirt on them.
