Cats do not like the smell of citrus.
Animals that eat fruit with seeds include birds, such as finches and thrushes, as well as mammals like bears and deer. These animals consume the fruit and then disperse the seeds in their droppings, helping the plants to propagate and grow in new locations.
Some animals in the US that eat a variety of seeds, fruits, insects, worms, and other small animals include birds like robins, blue jays, and woodpeckers, as well as mammals like raccoons, opossums, and squirrels. These animals have diverse diets that may include a combination of plant matter, insects, and small animals to meet their nutritional needs.
Cats should not eat lemons. Lemons can be toxic to cats and can cause gastrointestinal issues such as upset stomach, vomiting, and diarrhea. It is best to avoid feeding any citrus fruits to cats.
You should not give citrus fruits to a hamster. Citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruits are too acidic for a hamster's digestive system and can cause stomach upset or other health issues. It's best to stick to safe fruits like apples, bananas, and strawberries in moderation as treats for your hamster.
I live in Sonoma County, California. I have found numerous whole peeled lemons, some laying on the ground and some still hanging high up on the lemon bush- but with no peel!! The peel is almost completely off while the fruit is still whole and intact. I believe the culprit to be rats as they are the only critters who would chew off the lemon peels on the ground and also then climb up to get them as well. Plus we are out in the country on acreage and there are rats around but they are very shy and seldom seen.
An apple is a fruit, but not a citrus. A fruit is distinguished from vegetables by having seeds, which an apple does have, but only oranges and grapefruits and fruits like that are citrus fruit. It is also a pome fruit.
Passion fruit is actually not considered to be a citrus fruit. Oranges and lemons are considered to be citrus fruits.
yes like orange
Although the pomegranate is high in vitamin c like citrus fruit, it is not a citrus fruit; it is classed as a berry.
a hybrid of a tangerine and a pomelo, or grapefruit
Most citrus fruit such as oranges and lemons are fairly acidic.
yes you do- just like an orange or a lemon, any other citrus fruit
No... Because like lemon, it is a citrus fruit and citrus fruits don't flower. P.S orange is NOT a citrus fruit. From Zac Peterson 12 yrs old. :D hope i helped.
Bears are omnivores, so they can eat fruit and vegatables. The attached link, says they can even get drunk on fruit (see attached link). I can't answer your question really, if bears like citrus. I only found that they do eat fruit.
