A quick release/adjustment buckle for stirrups on saddles which enables riders to lengthen or shorten the stirrups with much less fuss than unlacing. They are only made in Wheatland, Wyoming and were invented by a man who, during WWII, was part of the group who rode horseback up and down the Eastern coast watching for enemy ships coming into America's waters. It was time consuming to have to unlace the stirrup adjustments each time a new rider with different length legs had to take his watch.

Welll, first you take apart the bridle by undoing the various buckles and straps, then you take the browband in your right hand and slide the long end of the nose band through. then you take the other part with the buckles and thread that on top of the noseband part. then you buckle the bit holder things to the part you just threaded through the browband and attatch the reins. How tight should the girth be done up when you first put the saddle on?
There is no known measurement for the tightness of a horses girth. All horses are different sizes and should have their girths tighted accordingly. To adjust the girth to correctly fit your horse you place the two outside Girth Straps into the buckles and tighten it until you can only fit 2 fingers between the horse and the girth. When you do this you will feel pressure. It is important to tighten the girth correctly as if it is too lose the saddle can slide forwards and backwards creating sores known as saddle sores. If the Girth is too tight you can interfere with the horses breathing as it can restrict the movement of the horses lungs. I hope this info is useful..... have fun !

Tendon Wraps/Boots- Help protect the tendons of the horse and helps protect other areas of the leg. Applied with Velcro or buckles.
