The five kingdom system was started in 1969, using The kingdom Animalia, Kingdom Plantae, Kingdom Funghi, Kingdom Protoctista and Kingdom Prokaryotae. This system has been proven to be insufficient since Chlorophyta are included in Protista and not the plant kingdom, which evidence shows to be wrong. Also, Photosynthetic organisms are included in three different kingdoms, and having a separate kingdom for these would clear up a lot of confusion.
Currently, there are seven accepted kingdoms, (Eubacteria, Archaebacteria, Archaezoa, Protozoa,Plantae, Animalia, Fungi) and one more that causes controversy (Chromista) making eight to answer the topic question.
Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Genus, and Species
There are only 5 Kingdoms: Monera (Bacteria, Blue-green algea), Protist (paramecium, euglena, ameba), Fungi, Plant and Animal
There are 5 kingdoms (kingdoms is the way of classifing organisms) 1. kingdom Monera (bateria and other single prokaryotic cells) 2. kingdom Protista (microscopic organisms made of 1 or more eukaryotic cells) 3.kingdom Fungi (fungi (of course) made of eukaryotic cells and eats deadorganisms) 4. Kingdom Plantae (all plants which are made of many eukaryotic cells) 5. kingdom Animalia (all animals and people many many eukaryotic cells we humans are made of about 100 trillion!) Being in Kingdom Animalia does NOT mean we are animals though we are just made of the same cells! Hope this helps!
Kingdom Plantae contains only producers Are venus fly traps, pitcher plants consumers?
A zoologist is a person who studies biology in the animal kingdom. Some famous zoologists include Georgina Sweet, Roger Payne, and Steve Irwin.
Biology
There should be only 5 kingdoms: Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista and Prokaryota. Unless you're talking about the different phyla/divisions within. maniwala tititlaan mo ak labat
Plant kingdom
biology
It is a type of biology relating to the animal kingdom.
Kingdom Phylum Class Order Family Genius Species
Common bacteria belongs to the Kingdom Eubacteria. This is a recent change; some Biology textbooks still say Monera.
Fungi Fungi used to be classed as members of the Plant Kingdom but are now placed in a separate Kingdom of Life, the others being the Plant Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom.
When referring to the kingdom system is one referring to the kingdom system in biology? It is possible that one may be referring to the kingdom system in hierarchy. This question could be posed clearer.
Biology-wise? Similar families make up an order.
The classification level that comes after domain is kingdom. The hierarchy for classification in biology is domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species.
In biology organisms are organized (in descending order) into kingdoms, phylum, class, order, family, genus and species. In elementary biology the highest level is the kingdom.
