Shark attacks rarely happen! You have a way more likely chance to win the lottery. if you're on vacation at the beach, don't be afraid to at least go into a shallow part. If so, please like it!:)

Not much, more people get killed by coconuts falling on their head than people getting eaten by a shark, so I wouldn't worry. Unless you are going to Australia, which has a lot more Great White Sharks than Europe, etc. Granted this is true as a whole the statistics in different areas varrys greatly. For instance the chances of Otto of Austria whose country is surrounded only by land is hardly likely to be the unfortionate dinner of a Tiger Shark. Where as Sheila living on the coast of Australia is prime steak when it comes to sharks!

Very low; you have greater chance of getting hit on the head by a coconut at the beach and being killed by it or even getting into car accident on the way to the beach.

Is it better to be eaten alive by a lion or a shark?

It depends. If you wanted to get eaten alive by a shark, you would most likely be underwater and you would probably drown to death before the shark eats you. (Of course, sharks aren't known for eating humans, and it is more likely that you will get killed by a coconut falling on your head then a shark attack) Being eaten by a lion would probably take place in Africa, so there would be no drowning. But I would think that being killed by a lion would be worse, cause have you seen those teeth?! So I would go with the shark.
