While it is true that the reticulated python is the longest snake in the world, the Green anaconda is the largest. They are pound for pound the heaviest and largest snakes in the world. They grow to 30+ feet but their incredible girth makes them the bigger and stronger than the reticulated python.

∙ 12y agothe biggest snake is behind a cage. that cage is called my zipper. its about 72 . . . . . thousand feet long and 20 thousand feet wide. it has eatten more people than how many died in the revilutionary war. likw 50,000.
lol nice answer ^^ Largest caught was a burmese python which was 32 feet and weighed 402 pounds although a reticulated python is said to be the longest one was said to be kept in Indonesia at 48 foot and weighed i think it was about 985 pounds.

∙ 5y agoIt depends how you define 'biggest'. The longest living species of snake - is the reticulated python... with specimens of 33 feet (10 metres) or more. The heaviest species is the Anaconda. There is fossil evidence of a snake nicknamed 'titanoboa' - which is estimated to have been 42 ft (12.8 m) long and weighed about 2,500 lbs (1,135 kg).
