Cesar Milan's methods are controversial and his knowledge about dog behaviour is questionable, based on faulty premises. He's a celebrity that brings in enough money so his shows go on, even though they are edited and produced to make it look like his methods are a great success, appeal to people looking for quick solutions to their dog's problems or to the power hungry who want to control their dogs in unhealthy ways. Though sometimes he does have better insight in his shows and evey now and then he goes with positive reinforcement and figuring out actual possible reasons for bad behaviour without chalking it all up to dogs wanting to be dominant.
