Any large breed is capable of killing a person, it is up to how they are raised by their owners. No one large guard breed is the best. Bullmastiffs are excellent guard breeds but that is my opinion. It is up to what each individual person needs in a dog. Each dog needs tons of socialization and obedience training from a person who is consistent. They also need daily exercise such as walks on lead.
