There are many hamster toys available from your local pet stores that you can get for them to play with and chew on to pass the time. ANSER you can take them out the cage and hold them, put an animal programme on tv and make sure it is on a comfy cushiopn . or you could invite some other guineas to come anmd play with them but make sure it is the same sex hope this helps love lola...x

My guinea pig has a "travel cage" (a rabbit-sized cage) that he is transferred into and food/hay/treats/toys are packed up into his "luggage" and he is brought over to my in-laws house so that he has constant supervision with people he knows while we are gone.

My best advice is to leave your pig with people he/she knows, and to keep as much of their environment as constant as possible. Same type of bedding, food, same toys, so there is are minimal changes.

Some pet hotels take in hamsters - it is worth ringing round to see which ones do, and they should let you visit without an appointment so you can take a look around. You can always try to find a reliable friend who could care for your hamster. You should never leave your hamster home alone.

Hey. Uhh you can put your pet in a Kennel during your vacation. It's alot safer than leaving your pets at home alone with only someone say a house sitter to stop by every couple hours to let your pet outside and feed them etc, because pets (especially dogs) have a tendency to knock things over (I would know I have 4 dogs).
