Cole grabbed the closest rock and threw it.
When Garvey and Edwin drove away, Cole felt a mix of emotions, including anger and loneliness. He took the opportunity to reflect on his situation and the choices that led him to this point. Feeling abandoned, he initially considered running away but ultimately decided to stay and confront his struggles, realizing he needed to take responsibility for his actions and begin his healing journey.
Cole threw away the fur, because he didn't need to prove anything and wanted Garvey and Edwin to trust him, showing them the fur would have proven to both of them that he did see the spirit bear, but Cole wants to show that his word should be good enough.
because the animals need to drink to and he can't scare them away
Cole was mad in the beginning because the spirit bear wasnt affraid of him. so he wanted to kill it. the spirit bear was showing self diffence so he attacked cole. Cole realized that he wasnt very important to nature so he kind of changed. Cole saw the spirit bear again while he was almost dead in the forest, he spit at it and the spirit bear licked up his spit. At that point the Spirit bear trusted cole and cole trusted the spirit bear. the spirit bear let cole touch him and they were trusting each other.n the spirit bear walked away but cole does see him again later in the book.
Because if you really love your dog then you shouldn't give it away unless people want to take your dog away. Such as the animal control. Or something like that. If you have no reason to give it away then dont give it away. Just keep it and care for it.
he went into his cabin and punched the walls and set the cabin on fire

Edwin made Cole carry the rock up a hill, he told Cole the rock is your ancestors and the hill is life. Edwin used this as a lesson for Cole. When they got to the top of the hill Cole put the rock down, the rock then became his anger, Edwin told Cole to push the rock down the hill roll away his anger. With each time you roll the rock away and carry it up the hill you will learn respect said Edwin....An ancestor rock is a rock passed down through the years usually in Indian cultures. Ancestor rocks usually have paintings on them of their past ancestors.

I would say that the first main event was when he burned the hut and tried to swim away because as he was burning the hut he was remembering all the awful things that his father and mother had done. the second main event was the bear attack, obviously, because it changed his perspective on life, and he then realized he wanted to survive so that's the turning point in this book, though some would argue that the turning point was shortly after when he felt sympathy for the mother bird and her babies, so I'm going to say that was the third. When he allowed himself to forget judgment and dance the dance of the whale, or the wolf was a main event. When he threw away the lock of bear fur. When he forgave his mother. When he allowed Peter to just beat him and when he didn't fight back. When he invited Peter to live on the island because he had heard peter was attempting suicide and he wanted to help. When he began his morning rituals, trying to become invisible and clear his mind, when he rolled his anger away with the ancestor rock.. and in the end when he danced the anger dance..
Change whatever it is about you which drove her away. Even then, there's no guarantee.
