How do you make a sheep walk that doesn't walk not matter how much you drag it?

If your sheep is unable to walk or stand it may be sick and need to see a veterinarian. If your sheep can walk naturally without you there try enticing it in the direction you want it to go with some feed.

What do dogs do on a farm?

Depends on the farm and the dogs. I know some dogs that are sometimes used for the driving of cattle, and allowed to freely roam the pastures as outdoor dogs. My "farm dogs", however, are small and mainly spend their time napping indoors and playing in the yard; along with the occasional walk along some dirt road. So, as you must have expected, it depends on where you look.

What is the gland between the sheep toes?

The glad between their toes is a scent gland. It enables sheep to herf (stay in a per-defined area, without fences). As the sheep walk, the gland scents the grass and ground and the sheep smell it and can smell the borders of the land that they walk on (and stay off the land that that don't. I don't know if all modern sheep breeds are capable of herfing, but I know that some are.
