A snook is a saltwater fish which are plentiful here in Florida waters. Some people consider them to be a gamefish but most REAL Floridians consider them to be one of the best food fishes around. There IS an open and closed season and size and quantity limits on snook. They generally grow to a maximum length of over two feet. the American alligator red tail hawk,gopher turtles,kingsnakes,american river otters ,and panthers i think but I'm pretty sure that's some of them :) more are -Florida crocodile, coral snake, eastern diamond back rattlesnake,many lizards, key deer, Florida Panther, and more. In that area you can find fishes like, Senegalese ladyfish; Madeiran sardinella; Needlefishes; Margined flyingfish; Biglip grunt; Squirrelfish; West-African parrotfish; Bluespotted seabass; diferrents types of Morays and so many other fishes. there are several types of fish in florida here is a list of the ones i know of : spadefish,barracuda,bluefish,bonefish,crevallejack,dolphin,pompano, amberjack, red drum,sail fish,blue marlin,lane snapper,sea trout,tarpon,wahoo,blackfin tuna,mackerel, snook,spearfish,ladyfish,little tunny,cobia,spanish mackerel,queen triggerfish,southern and gulf flounder,black grouper,sheep shed,permit,gag grouper,swordfish,yellowtail snapper,white grunter,red snapper,nassau grouper,jewfish,hogfish,mutton snapper,yellowfin tuna,white marlin,and the cubera snapper. hope this helps

yes there are fishing charters out of st. johns pier and out of tampa, clearwater, bradenton, and st. petersburg. some fishing grouper, kingfish, snook, redfish, and tarpon.
Inshore fishing is basicaly the "flats" or inside a bay. where the water is normally more shallow. This is where you can catch Bonefish, Tarpon, Redfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Snook and others. Normal depths are anywhere from 1 ft. to 21 ft.
