See the related question below for more details and helpful links about what rabbits can eat. Rabbits shouldn't eat:no processed foods made for humans, because they're very unhealthy for rabbits (too high in starches, sugars, proteins, and/or fats) - this includes crackers, cereal, breads, pasta, cookies, popcorn, chocolate, candies, cake, etc.no seeds or nuts, because they're too high in fats and proteins alsono dairy, meat, eggs, animal fats, or any animal byproducts, because rabbits are herbivores (vegan), and they can't digest these foodsno dried spices, seasonings, salt, pepper, flavours - these are too potent for rabbits and can make them sickno oils or fats - rabbits get all the fats and minerals they need from their pellets, so any more in addition to pellets is unhealthy

rabbbits seldom die from the cold alone, more rabbits die in the summer than the winter. But, if your rabbit is in a cage where it can get wet or the wind can blow on it and it can't get relief it could possibly freeze. A nest box with lots of straw in it will help your rabbit make it thru the winter in good shape. Be sure he has protection from the wind and don't forget the wind can blow up from underneath, too.
