Pet rabbits eat out of bowls, off of plates, out of gravity feeders, etc.

Some rabbits pick up their dishes with their mouths and throw them (thereby spilling food, and possibly breaking the dish and risking injury to themselves): in that case, their owners should get heavy ceramic dishes ("crocks") that can't be knocked over, or dishes that can be attached to the cage (if the rabbit has a cage).

Rabbits should eat mostly hay; they should always have access to hay and water. Rabbits also should eat two meals a day of high-quality pellets and leafy greens.

A gravity feeder can be really useful because it sifts the hay through the wire bottom (so there's less dust to get into their noses), and there's less waste as the rabbits can not get in and foul the feed.
