It definitely isn't good if a cat drinks antifreeze. Even a small amount could damage the cat's organs and possibly give it mental problems. Antifreeze contains ammonia, so naturally attracts animals as it smells like another animal's urine. An animal will naturally sniff or perhaps lick liquids containing ammonia. It is also said that it may taste sweet as well.
If you have antifreeze, I advise you keep it sealed tight and out of reach of animals and children. A moderate amount of antifreeze could kill a cat or dog. In fact, this is a big killer of animals.
Ethylene Glycol or Antifreeze is very very toxic. Get moving on this instantly. If you have no-one to call try: 1-800-222-1222 -- Poison Control DON'T WASTE A SECOND!
Unless caught almost immediately and treated, sometimes with neat alcohol (ethanol) to dilute the antifreeze, it can lead to chronic, and at times fatal, renal failure. Treatment really needs to start within 6 hours else the outlook is not good. I recently lost my favourite cat to ingesting antifreeze (deliberately poisoned as it turned out) and he went from having flu like symptoms to being put to sleep inside 10 days. By the time the vets realised he didn't have a *bug* and tested further, it was too late, the kidney damage was irreversable. Seemingly, it was only his youth and strength (he was 18 months old) that kept him going as long as he did. Some signs to look out for, lack of appetite, lethargy, constant licking/smacking of lips, vomiting, excessive urination. I believe there are three stages to antifreeze poisoning, but I only saw the latter stage, probably because my cat was very much a outdoor cat and I simply missed the first two stages as a result.
No. It actually makes them stronger. There was a documentary about adolescent turtles who were exposed to a similar chemical and it made them very stronger. They mutated and were able to learn skills. These same effects were found in the Congo with monkeys, and in the amazon with snakes. All beings who were exposed gained various mutations and changes. I believe there was also one human study by a dr. Banner. His findings were the same. Increased growth, intelegence and strength. So while the common beliefs are that it kills it only makes them stronger, and effects everyone. New York, even Japanese lizards and moths are known to have had one amazing side effects. Please just don't...it's not worth the cost.
If by "keep away" you mean "kill", yes. Antifreeze is a toxin, and cats and dogs seem to like the taste. But it destroys their livers. As a side effect, if you are found to be putting out antifreeze, the local humane society likely will take legal action of some sort against you.
If a cat has consumed antifreeze, treatment must be given within the first three hours to avoid major complications and even death.
it can live to about a couple of days
A cat cannot live long on water only, but just how long depends on the condition of the cat. Most cats can live about a week or two with only water, but it can trigger a fatty liver condition when they begin eating again, which can kill them.
A domestic cat can live with the disease FIV for several years.
Stop your cat from licking radiators IMMEDIATELY!!! Antifreeze used in radiators is not just poisonous, but deadly to cats even in small amounts. Unfortunately antifreeze also taste great to them. Please stop your cat immediately and consult a vet.
Antifreeze has an appealing sweet smell to cats. However, it can be deadly, as Antifreeze is not meant to be ingested. So, obviously, do NOT let your cat or anyone elses drink it.
A few days
YES of course. Why would a person drink antifreeze? If a dog or cat accidently drink enough antifreeze, they would suffer from kidney failure and die.
If the cat drank to much it could die in a day or so, if it drank a smaller amount it could vommit it out and be okay, but i would still take to the vet just incase.
Unlikely, get them to a vet instantly. Even then there is a high probability the animal will die even with treatment.

if you mean how long does a cat live, this depends on its health, some breeds can live as long as 20-23 years , if a cat goes outside this can take 5 to 7 years off its life span, a cat that only stays indoors or in an enclosed area can live much longer.
well so long has high as a cat
it depens what type of wild cat it is
Your cat will live to about 16 years old if he doesnt eat at the moment if he gets worse like gets wobbly legs or signs of weird problems see your vet. Hope this has helped
