You didn't say if your cat was a male or female and if it was an indoor or outdoor cat. Some people let their cats out during the day and bring them in at night, while others keep their cats indoors. If there are other cats around (pets) and they are fighting for turf then spray them with cold water. Use a clean spray bottle with cold water. They get the drift very quickly. If your cat is outside then it's normal for even females to be territorial just as dogs will protect their turf around the outside of the house and the house. There isn't much you can do about it. If you see your cat fighting with another cat close to the house then either turn the hose on them or spray them with that cold water. I know, because I lived up North where cat fights kept people awake and that's the only way any of us could break these vicious fights up.
Yes and no, it would probably protect the dog from fleas but it is a lot weaker as a dog is able to take stronger stuff. Its like giving a cat dog food its far too strong for cats, a dog can take cat food.
You spay a female dog and cat, you neuter a male dog and cat.
A dog and a cat. Let the dog chase the cat, if the cat gets caught, the dog is faster ;^)
If a dog will be protecting a cat is only if the dog grew up around the cat and adapted to it, but if the cat protected the dog they will reverse cyclogy and protect each other.
The dog barked and howled at the cat in the backyard.
The owner of the cat & possibly you if you &/or your dog were trespassing on the owner's property or if your dog was not on a leash.
Sue the cat owner!!
It is impossible to cross a cat with a dog. The genes and chromosomes are incompatible.
some dogs will bark at cats but most also attack
If a cat attacks your dog, you should try to separate them without getting hurt yourself. You can use a loud noise or water to distract them, or try to gently push the cat away. It's important to keep calm and not escalate the situation. If your dog is injured, seek veterinary help immediately.
If a dog attacks a cat, the housing association wouldn't be involved anyway to my knowledge. if you are allowed dogs in your home that would be ok, but if not you may be lookin elsewhere to live if your dog isn't suppose to be there. Dog catches cat: well everyone know the outcome to that one, well if the cat gets caught its dead. it nature...it like if a cat catches a bird.etc... we all need to look at a dog perspective here and not a human one, animals are territorial, and will protect their personal space. You are either the prey and the predator... i do not think there is any laws against this really, if a dog attacks a human , there are laws then i see many urban foxes around where i live and they have attacked cats during the night with no remains. hope this has helped xx
You have to let them fight it out. Eventually they will stop. But if the other dog attacks the other dog and a scratch happens and a drop of blood happens you have to stop it immediately.
This is surley impossible as dog and cat are a different Genis and different species not allowing them to reproduce.
well maybe the dog in your cat did not ge along in never leave your cat out side when u know the dog dnt like your cat
Dog/cat food.
if a police dog attacks you, it bites the arm, breaks it and hangs on your arm like a 100 poind weight ,and it will just hold you until the cops get to you,
