What is a good design for a cubes and coroplast guinea pig cage?

What animals can guinea pigs live with?
well its recomended that two female guinea pigs live together. if you put three guinea pigs (female, male,nad another male ) they could kill eachother because there fighting over the female but i recomend if you get males and females get seperate cages or get a cubes and coroplast cage you can learn more at guineapigcages.com and seperate half of the cage for guys and girls or combine them witha equal amount of sexes ex.2 males and 2 females. but i recomend getting all females unless you would like to breed them. also if your guinea pig gets pregnant remove the male because hecould kill the babies if the wants to mate again.

What is a c and c cage?
A C&C cage is really called a cubes and coroplast cage. The cubes part is the wired organizational racks that you can make shelves out of. Coroplast is thebrand name of a corrugated plastic that comes in different colors and different sized sheets. To make a C&C cage you cut slits in the corners of the Coroplast (you can use any type of corrugated plastic) and fold them up so that you get a shallow box. The wired "cubes" come with connectors that you attach to the shelves to make kind of a fence around the Coroplast box. If you trace around the fence before you cut the Coroplast, and then add 6 inches to each side and the top and bottom, then cut 6 inches deep on the corners, the box will fit perfectly inside of the fence. If you don't want a C&C cage, then you can always go with the Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat, which I have and is very nice and spacious. For more information go to cavycages.com

No. They will chew through it , and it will become rotten from them peeing on it

well, you could go to a local petstore and get an okay guinea pig cage for like 30-40 bucks. And the two level ones are like 80-90 bucks. But the best way to get a cage is to go to walmart online and type in cubes and coroplast. You can order then by doing site to store so it has no shipping cost. You can design your cage the way you want it this way. Then go to harborsales.net and type in coroplast. Coroplast need to be layed in the cubes so the guinea pigs are comfortable. You only cut through one layer of them so they can fit in corners. You can find all of this information by going to www.cavycages.com. Coroplast has no shipping cost if you ship it to a business in baltimore. You can also call the number so you don't have to make an account. You'll need to make sure that this is okay with the business. This way each boards of coroplast is only 4.00$.
