I have heard that they really like climbing, seesaws, and of course anything that is safe wood for them to chew. seesaws are always more fun to watch if you have at least 2 hamsters kept together but it is still GREAT fun for the hamster (try to get a wood one). They LOVE tunnels. toilet paper or paper towel tubes work great and as there is always a constant supply in most households you can replace them as the hamster has fun crawling through and rolling around and tearing it to bits. You can also buy plastic tunnels that you can put together in different ways and attach to the cage (if you have the right kind). These are great for your hamster but beware they might become a hide away and it is not good to have to pull all the tunnels apart to try and get your buddy out. also if you have a large hamster you definitely do you want them to get stuck in the tunnel! personally i prefer the toilet tubes.
they also love cardboard boxes (WARNING: NEVER LEAVE THEM ALONE IN A CARDBOARD BOX AS THEY CAN CHEW OUT FASTER THEN YOU THINK. ALSO IF THERE IS ANY OTHER PETS AROUND DOG OR CAT OR WHATEVER NEVER LEAVE YOUR HAMSTER ALONE YOU DO NOT WANT A DEAD HAMSTER)! I like to connect the together and make little houses and put ramps and make furniture and stuff out of cardboard but don't be offended if they do not like the couch or bed it took you half an hour to make :P. also if you are taping the tape is probably not good for them to chew on or eat because it might even be toxic or something so just always watch your hamster when he is in these houses. also beware of pea soaking through the bottom of the box and getting on your mom's nice clean carpet! lol hope this helps have fun with your hammy.
It's a good idea to replace your hamster's wooden house toy every 6-12 months, or when you notice signs of wear and tear like splintering or damage. Hamsters may also appreciate a change in their environment, so introducing a new toy can provide mental stimulation and enrichment.
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
It's possible that your dog is experiencing separation anxiety from losing her favorite toy a month ago. Dogs can form strong attachments to specific toys, and the loss of one can cause stress and upset. To help her feel more secure, consider providing her with a new favorite toy and engaging in interactive play to build positive associations.
, your hamster makes funny noises because all hamsters do, its usually i sqeeking noise, or it could be the toy he/she is playing on, my hamster makes a BUNCH of noise to, so i wouldn't be concerned
