Everyone hopes to end up with zero faults, which means no rails down and that they were under the time. You incur four faults for every rail down, or if your horse touches the water. I think it's four for a refusal as well and you get a maximum of three refusals per fence. Being unhorsed is disqualification. If you are over time you incur one penalty for every second over. Average scores usually end up between zero and twelve penalties.
Knocking down a fence in a jumping show typically results in 4 faults being subtracted from the rider's overall score. This fault is incurred when the horse's feet or any part of its body makes contact with the fence, causing it to fall.
Cross country horse riding is an equestrian sport where riders navigate a series of obstacles, jumps, and varied terrain over a set distance. It requires a combination of horse and rider athleticism, skill, and strategy to complete the course successfully while maintaining safety for both horse and rider.
A penalty in show jumping is called a fault, caused if a horse refuses to jump, knocks down a jump, or does not complete the course in the given amount of time. Horseisle answer- fault
The scale is from 1 to 10 with 1 being the calmest. A horse with a temperament of 1 doesn't spook, doesn't get upset, is very calm and gentle. A horse with a temperament of 10 is wild, spooky and very dangerous.
Dogs aren't in a score.
Yes its part of the dress code to wear gloves
No, it doesn't matter but it is recommend to wear gloves because it gives you a better grip on the reins. A traditional (but not required) show jumper's look is any color polo shirt and tan riding pants.
Good tack like peggy and iccey and your horse having a lot of experience.
Yes. Riding gloves can: Prevent blistersProtect your hands against the elementsGive you a better grip on the reins
Jumping scores depend on how fast and accurate you get through the course. I've heard a Selle Francaise (spelling?) Is a good jumping horse. The added help of companions and special tack improve one's advantage as well. Timing the stride of your horse right, using big jumps, and getting through fast is the best way to get a high score. Hope this helps! <><

When a horse knocks over a pole on a jump while on a jumping course it is called a fault. A fault causes 5 points to be added onto the jumper's score. In the end, the person with the least faults gets first prize, and the person with the second least points gets 2nd prize etc. -Xandom XD
Well get the highest score by jumping a clear round in show jumping, by getting the fastest time in cross country, and by getting the highest score in dressage to win
The average professional bowler score in a typical tournament is around 200-220 points per game.
A cross country event is a type of competitive horse riding event which is run over a long course (6km) that has fixed jumps (as compared to show jumping where the rails can be knocked down). The maximum height of jumps is 1.2m but they can be quite big spreads (deep to jump over) and can incorporate water and strange objects to test the horses' trust of the riders. The course is over relatively natural countryside, but is groomed to minimise the risk of injury. The competition is for the lowest score. A long time to complete the course, and refusal of the horse to go over a jump all add to the score. The horse and rider can also be eliminated from the competition for several things, including: the rider falling more than once, the horse falling to the ground, and for jumping any part of the course in the wrong order or direction.

How do you get over 9200 in jumping? Gain speed by pressing the right arrow, hold it down or press it repeatedly and quick. There is no specific way to get over 9200, but I recommend having 20 big jumps and what I said above. Just remember, speed is everything when it comes to getting over 9200. I have gotten over 9200 many times since I have gotten 20 big jumps. It's just a matter of luck and speed. Oh, and not hitting any helps xD. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for an answer!
