In some circles, Amstaff is an abbreviation for American Staffordshire Terrier - a type of dog.
the max size of a amstaff is around 60 cm but to get it to its biggest size it should have big parents if the breeds generations are know to be around 57 60 cm it is most likely for the dog to be around that size as well and visa-versa if it has shorter dog in the family it is most likely to be shorter than the others
I have a 5 month old Amstaff and she gained about 1000grams/week and that is normal (compared to growth of dogs with an adult weight of 30000grams+) i have a 5 month old American stafford shier terrier who is a male and he now weighs 31 pounds they get to be about 126 lbs total if they are a pure breed male
Original answer by someone: American Pitbull Terriers My answer: From the proportion of the dog's head..and the size of the body I would say AMSTAFF...american staffordshire terrier pure breed...or probably some kind of PRESA CANARIO breed mix.
No one has a definite answer on this issue, however we do know that blue is a dilution from Black. So many people think that blue nose pit bulls came from different lines of black pitbulls. www.pitbull-info-and-training.com Actually if you speak with older breeders and such the blue pit bulls happened by accident. At one point they thought it was something to a genetic fault. But it most oftened accured when a black and a red pit bull were bred together that is why a lot of blue pit bulls have like red tints when they are in the light
amstaff terrier and pitbull
They are a mix of Amstaff, staffie and American pit.
Can't get to it
The AKC doesn't have statistics in their records counting the amount of amstaff registered in America.

if you're particular about having an amstaff then, no. but there is a "pocket bully" which is a pit bull that's lower to the ground but just as muscular as a standard size pit. they're hard to find but they're out there.

The ruffian strain is the oldest most storied amstaff line ever created. All ruffian dogs will eventually trace back to tudors black jack,a game dog who carryed the diluted triat that makes dogs blue,as many of his ancestors were..Blue dogs were first found in any great number in the ruffian strain i believe,it has also been rumored there was a bit of mixing with wiemeraner[no facts or proof to back it up].so does ruffian run off of greyline,no,but gray line probably was founded off of ruffian dogs,so id say grey line actually runs off ruffian if anything. For a apbt bloodline it ranks at a zero, because its a amstaff.
There are a few dog breeds that can be put under the term 'pit bull': American pit bull terrier American staffordshire terrier Staffordshire bull terrier and there is a breed called Irish staffordshire bull terrier People argue that the APBT and the Amstaff are one and the same breed, but others argue that the bloodlines have been apart too long for them to be considered the same breed.
gaff is a pitbull/amstaff bloodline that is almost all show and wt pull dogs very strong in mind and ability . found in a lot of well breed bullys that are not the over wide or low dogs. also found breed wit wactchdog/couturier ,larum, chaos bloodlines. they are found in adba, ukc, akc very good blood for good looking pitbulls
Not really. If you got a dog from the newspaper or someone down the street's litter of pit bulls, she may very well be mix-bred. Anyhow, at 8months old, your dog is not finished growing. She will fill out, adding another 5 to 15pounds onto her current weight. She could be a APBT/AmStaff cross, or an AmStaff, although she still may be a APBT; just she's kind of heavy for the breed; probably because her parents/ancestors were bred larger. Most APBT SHOULD be 45-65lbs at 2yrs of age. Just as long as she's agile and fit, she might still be an APBT, and still be great pet or working dog.
Mother dog needs to see vet. She is sick and needs special vaccination and exam from vet. She may be retaining placenta, puppies, infection or any number of bad things.
