I have to many ants in my lawn how can i rid my lawn of the ants?

You can go to your local home improvement store and pick up some ant poison. I found that the powdered stuff works the best. == Find the nest of the ants and treat that. I had some good experience with pouring boiling water down the hole. However, the grass will go brown in that spot. With fire ants, you need to obtain a particular poison that is quite toxic and so you should use it in limited areas. That is why I used boiling water first! They are capable of having several queens and moving the nest.

∙ 12y agoget some pepper and vinegar and a spoon put some vinegar on the spoon and put it where the ants are coming from then if it doesn't kill it right away put the pepper on it and let it stay . THIS WORKS TRIED IT IT WORKS !!!!! you can also use windex. it's an extremely cheap fix. just spray the ants or leave little puddles of it and it stops ants dead in their tracks. I've also heard that they tend to stay away from dish detergent. i hope this helps!
