the biggest spider ever found was in Alabama is was a ten year old Goliath spider. but it was dead. The largest spider ever found was a living Huntsman spider. It was found and filmed at the mouth of a cave in Guam, in south East Asia, during a thunderstorm. Its body isn't as substantial as a Goliath spider but its leg span was 13.8 in. The size of a medium snow crab. By the way Goliath Spiders are only found in south America.
