Depends (of course)
- Siafu (army ants) of Kenya for mass destruction
- Jackjumper ants of Tasmania
Siafu will eat you alive in a matter of minutes. And bug spray won't protect you.
harvester ants and fire ants can give a nasty bite that often gets swollen and bullet ants gives one of th e most painful bites. Also bull ants have the most venomous bite of all ants.
Ants are not really dangerous unless you are allergic to their sting, but this is no different from other stinging insects, like bees. Statistically, the Fire Ant is responsible for more deaths (in the USA) than any other.
Also the Bullet Ant is suppossed to have the most painfull sting.
The Driver Ant or as the locals call it, Siafu, is primarily found in central and East Africa. It is the only known ant to kill and a devour a human.
Jack Jumper Ant
A jack jumper ant (Myrmecia pilosula). These are a bit overhyped by the TV but it is apparently true that this ant kills more people in Tasmania than snakes, Spiders and sharks put together (perhaps if they worked as a team...?).
Jack Jumpers are very common in Tasmania and are amazingly aggressive. According to Wikipedia the venom is one of the strongest in the insect world. The deaths are caused by people developing an allergy to the venom and suffering anaphylactic shock.

This kind of question seldom has a simple answer other than "it depends". Some would say that some of the army ant species are the most dangerous, but maybe you mean the so-called "bullet ant", Paraponera clavata, from Central and South America.
It has a terribly painful sting and it has been said that getting four stings at once can be fatal. Fortunately it is a large ant that forms small colonies, and mostly it minds its own business, so it is not often that it stings anyone once, let alone four times. Anyway, after a sting or two, most people would be likely to avoid its company. Read the story "The Empire of the Ants" by H. G. Wells. It might give you something to think about.
The most deeadlisest ants are either Red Ants or Bull Dog Ants
the most dangerous ant in the world is the Bullet ant. it lives in south America its illegal to use unless you have a permite to and are apart of the scientific community.
