i have found that Siamese are very tempermental, and protective. Love your Siamese, and she will honor your word until judgement day when your lying. (hopefully that makes sense). they love attention. but don't fail to deliver, or they wiil shun you... they are the royalty, i think, of the feline species
Siamese cats have a reputation for being cross eyed.
I'm not to sure about this but I think that they got their name because Siamese, or conjoined, twins look the same, and every Siamese cat look more or less the same as each other. it is actually because the Siamese cat originated in siam, which is now Thailand.
SiameseThere are 4 official breeds that come from ThailandClassic Siamese, the Thai aka Siamese, Korat and the latest recognised one is theKhao Manee, (even though the Khao Manee has been around for thousands of years)
it's commonly believed that they originated in Thailand around the 14th century. For a long time, many Siamese cats had crossed eyes and crooked, kinked tails. Siamese cats were treasured by royal families in Thailand. One of the earliest known owners of a Siamese cat was actually U.S. President Rutherford B. Haye's wife, Lucy—which means Siamese cats have a history in the White House, too. Her Siamese cat, named Siam, was a gift from a U.S. diplomat serving in Thailand.
No, the Sphinx cat is a different breed from the Siamese. While both breeds are known for their sleek appearance, Sphinx cats do not have fur at all, while Siamese cats have a short coat of fur. Additionally, the two breeds have different genetic backgrounds and physical characteristics.

An ocicat is a new breed of cats, derived from crossing a chocolate point Siamese with a hybrid Abyssinian pointed Siamese. An ocicat resembles a 'wild' cat because of it's spotted coloring, but has the temperament of a domestic cat.
Siamese And Burmese
you have to crossbreed shorthair cat and siamese cat
A Siamese is a cream-orange-brown colored cat with long black 'socks' on it's feet and tail, it's head has a black smudge and black ears, the Siamese can have blue or green eyes. Added by ID: Siamese are single-owner cats, they will often attach themself to one person. Siamese are said to be the loudest of cat breeds, most cats have a mew voice whereas Siamese sound more like a Moaw. Unlike other domestic cat breeds, Siamese have non-retractable claws on all four paws. They are also considered to be more intelligent than other breeds, this intelligence can be picked up from their resourcefulness (opening cupboards with their paws, attemtping to open cans also) though I have seen this is common domestics (Im unsure whether my Siamese has taught her or she learnt herself - she opens cupboards with her mouth). Siamese can have cross-eyes also and this is not a genetic fault, they had cross eyes before they had straight eyes, the cross eyes were "corrected".
it is never recommended to cross a pitbull with another breed of dog for temperament issues.
