The Banded Krait is the common name for Bungarus fasciatus, a venomous snake of the Elapidae family. It is native to the whole of the Indo-Chinese region, the Malaysian peninsula and archipelago and Southern China.
It can be found in a variety of habitats, ranging from forests to agricultural lands, and are often found near human settlements but prefer open plains.
It can be identified by alternating black and yellow bands, and can grow to around 1.8 - 2.1m. They are generally shy and mainly nocturnal, feeding mainly on other snakes.
Their venom is neurotoxic and has been estimated to have 14-25% of the potency of cobra venom, but there are few authenticated records of humans being bitten. There is no specific antivenin available.

Stay safe and don't attempt to capture these animals unless you are trained appropriately. Watch your step and enjoy your jungle adventure.

There are thousands of species of non-venomous snake ! If you want general species - Boas and Pythons (amongst others) fall into this category.
the rattlesnke is not the deadliest snake the banded sea krait it kills humans within 5 minutes.
The Banded Krait is one example - it lives almost entirely in the sea.
