A white spider that has a white body with a red spot might be a type of crab spider. If it is found primarily outdoors like in a garden, this is perhaps a crab spider. The crab spider is a distant relative to the tarantula and its bite is venomous, but not fatal to humans.
I, unfortunately can not answer your question. However, I can vouch for your sanity. I too have seen the same spider. Once. In my entire 24 years of existence. It is a wilderness spider and apparently very unusual (perhaps a genetic mutation or rare phenotype). The spider is fairly small, with a milky white, semi-translucent exoskeleton and (the one I saw) had a prominent, blood-red lightning bolt shape on the back of its abdomen. I saw this when I was picking wild blueberries with my aunt, and I was about 8 years old.
not quite sure but i just found one in my house CREEEEEPY
A crab spider, usually found on flower blossoms.
SPIDER SILVER BODY STRIPED LEGS???
A black spider with yellow stripes is a garden orb spider. These are very common and not poisonous to humans.
If this spider has two stripes on either side of its body as well as the abdomen, it is most likely a fen raft spider. commonly found in Europe. It is highly dangerous to humans. It is found in planted water such as creeks or ponds.
a very cute spider
This is an Australian Flower spider ( Diaea. sp. ). As it suggests it can be found in flowers and Foliage and will ambush small insects. It is harmless. This information can be found on www.ozanimals.com/spider/flower spider. Mitchell
Spiderman's Uncle
Hard to tell without a picture, but this sounds like a huntsman spider. Common in Australia but can be found in the southern parts of the U.S. They are lightning fast and freakishly enormous but pretty much harmless to people. for the picture.. google it.. you'll get what you want.

I suggest it's a Zebra spider; a species of jumping spider. See the link I've attached below in the related links section.

lack of calcium in your body causes white stripes on teeth and nails.
grass spider
A Tarantula! VERY SCARY!
if your asking "is a zebra white with black stripes or black with white?" im pretty sure they are white with black because their bellys are all white so the white is the color of the body and then there are black stripes on it.
