10 gallon tanks can fit some snakes and you they can also fit geckos. I have a gopher snake in a 10 gallon and it fits with a good amount of space for a big hide.
for two males a ten gallon tank heavly planted, two females 1 gallon, male and female same as first one
For most turtles, the water temperature in a 20 gallon tank should be between 75-80°F (24-27°C). Basking spots should be around 85-90°F (29-32°C) to allow the turtle to regulate its body temperature. It's important to provide a temperature gradient in the tank so the turtle can move between warm and cooler areas as needed.
It is generally recommended to have 1 inch of fish per gallon of water. So in a 186-gallon tank, you could have approximately 186 inches of fish. However, it's important to consider the specific needs and behaviors of the fish species you choose to ensure they have enough space to thrive.
How much gravel for 200 gallon tank
For a 5-gallon fish tank, you will need a filter, heater (if keeping tropical fish), thermometer, water conditioner, substrate, decorations, fish food, and a water testing kit to monitor water quality. It is important to properly cycle the tank before adding fish to establish a healthy environment for them.
I'm sorry but no turtle can live in a 2.5 gallon tank. You will need a least a 20 gallon tank and that is even iffy when they grow up I would say get a 30-40 gallon tank for one turtle.
About a 20 gallon tank.
I think it depends on how big the turtles are.
for two males a ten gallon tank heavly planted, two females 1 gallon, male and female same as first one
10 gallon
Depending on the species, one or two. Turtles will keep growing through their entire lives, overcrowding or expecting them to only grow to the size of the tank is something that usually leads to dead turtles.
Yes, turtles are common pets. They are easily taken care of but do not put them in a water tank unless you are POSITIVE that their breed lives in water, or they'll drown. keep them in no less than a 20 gallon tank!!
It depends what kind of turtle it is.Some turtles do not need water and can be kept in a room,or big area.
A 20 Gallon tank can hold up to 20 gallons of water.
It is a tank that will hold one gallon of water when filled to the brim. No tank is ever filled to the brim so the tank will never actually hold a gallon of water. It is not large enough to properly house any fish.
You can just use regular water. In the summer/warm weather, I clean my turtles' tank outside with my hose. I also use faucet water. If you'd like to know how I specifically clean my turtles' tank, please contact me or reply to this answer.
Freshwater aquatic snails would be the best choice for a tank that small.
