Lops in general need the same diet as any other rabbit. They should have an unlimited supply of timothy hay (not alfalfa) and fresh water. Feed them some fresh greens (lettuce, kale, parsley, cilantro, etc.) twice a day. As a treat, give sparing amounts of pellets, about 1/8 cup per day is plenty. Occasional treats of carrot, apple, banana are fine as long as bunny doesn't become overweight.
Natural greens such as long grass, dandelion leaves and blossoms are also excellent.
All rabbits are different, and some foods may upset their tummies, so always introduce new foods a little bit at a time until your bunny is comfortable with it.
YOU CAN FEED (PET) BUNNIES:
1. RABBIT FOOD (PELLETS)
2. TIMOTHY HAY
3. CARROTS (FRESH/CLEAN)
YOU CAN GIVE WILD BUNNIES CARROTS TOO.
BUNNIES SHOULD NOT HAVE LETTUCE. IT WILL CAUSE STOMACH PROBLEMS AND DIARRHEA.
A good quality rabbit pellet with at least 12% protein, plenty of fresh water, a mineral/salt block are all he needs. You can feed the occasional treat of fresh carrot coins, carrot tops, mint sprigs, dried bread crust, cheerios or apple slices but this should be fed only every other day or so as a treat. Do not feed lettuce, broccoli or cabbage.
Bunnies can eat lots of different kinds of foods!
Rabbits need...
The best thing to meet all these needs is hay!
Give your rabbit access to hay at all times (24/7), and encourage her to eat it by making sure it's fresh and well-placed (like in the litter box, or inside cardboard tubes as a toy, or in a few small piles instead of one huge pile)!
Rabbits also need the right (species-specific) mix of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. High-quality rabbit pellets (bunny food from the store, like petco or petsmart) will give your rabbit a healthy balance of what it needs to stay healthy and strong.
Fresh plants are another kind of food that rabbits can eat, but most of them are too rich in unhealthy things (like sugars, proteins, starches, fats) so they should be limited as a small occasional treat:
Lop-eared rabbits can eat the exact same vegetables as all other pet rabbits. Lop-eared rabbits don't have a special diet. See the related questions below for details -- they apply to lop-eared rabbits as well as all pet rabbits.

They are not carnivores. Bunnies are herbivores, which is like being vegetarian. Bunnies do not and will not eat meat.
Bunnies will eat cattail plants. They should be given as part of their diet and used with various other food including grain.
