contrary to the other posts only Dinoflagellates that contain chlorophyll A and C are green (many Dinoflagellates are green) however not all Dinoflagellates act like plants. some do not have the chlorophyll (chlorophyll contains chloroplasts which produce food by photosynthesis) meaning not all Dinoflagellates are green.

I believe the wiki user may have gotten confused with Diatoms or desmids.
