We have had guniea pigs in the past and i think the baest thing to do when they bite, is to spend more time with them. play with them, take them out and hold them... things like that! hope i helped... i can't guarantee, cause i guess some guinea pigs are just that way :D
guinea pigs have 24 teeth
Your little pig may not be o.k. I'm not professorially sure but i think guinea pigs don't lose their teeth so you should talk to your local or personal vet.
no they shouldn't lose there teeth they have one set of teeth and that's it. they grow for ever that's why you should have a chew toy in the hutch or a peice of wood so that they can keep their teeth to a healthy length. my guinea pig lost her top teeth so i had to mash her food and hand feed her it took a couple of days for her teeth to grow back but make sure to check that there is a bit of their teeth there where the gum is because if it is just gum you may need to take him for an xray to see if the teeth are going to grow again. hope this helps
Adult guinea pigs have 20 teeth, which include 4 incisors (front teeth), 2 premolars, and 14 molars. Their teeth continuously grow throughout their life, so it's important to provide them with proper chew toys and a balanced diet to prevent overgrowth and dental issues.
No, once a guinea pig's front teeth fall out, they won't grow back. It's important to provide them with proper nutrition and chew toys to prevent dental issues. If their teeth become overgrown or misaligned, it's essential to seek veterinary care.
The main positive outcome of braces on teeth is that the patient will have straight teeth, making it harder for food to get stuck between them. There should be no gaps between teeth.
Yes , apparently the braces get stuck between your teeth.
It is called "victusinterodenta". which means "food between teeth". Ryyah
You should not have to worry about keeping your guinea pigs teeth straight they should stay straight on their own if they arent this could mean they are loose and you should contact a vet immediatly.
guinea pigs have 24 teeth
If your guinea pig's teeth grow too big you can take them to the vet or you can give them hard food and toys to chew on.
Probably all of it.
If you mean that it's stuck and loose, you should wait for it to come out by itself. If it's stuck and just uneven in your gum you should probably see your dentist and ask about getting braces because it's irritating you. Hope this helps:)
may be cause they are weak or they have had a fight with another guinea pig. if you can feel the teeth dont worry they will grow back. but if they arent there you should see your vet hope this helps
my guinea pigs eat lots of things like chocolate and waffles, but I've never tried them on a little gem. they probably would like it,but be careful that it doesn't get stuck in their teeth.
One way to remove food particles that are stuck between the teeth and gums is to have the teeth cleaned by a dentist. One can also try using dental floss to remove the particles.
They need teeth to eat.
