horses are special because they can learn to control and move all four of their legs at different paces and times as well as flex their bodies and respond to correct aids from the rider. they are very giving animals, letting humans use them for enjoyment and everyday work. wild horses are becoming rare, which is why mustangs, preszewalskis and brumbys are closely protected and valued. meanwhile, domesticated horses rely completely on humans to feed them , rug them, exercise them and provide water. horses can see all the way around them, making it easier for them to spot danger, and at night they can see perfectly well because their pupil goes from a tiny size to a black spread across the entire eye, adjusting to the darkness. they are also loyal and great companions, and if they are loved they will give yo uanything. my horse will let me ride her with no gear on her at all, yet still i am in complete control because she is controlle dby leg pressure, and she loves to run across plains, gallop up hills. that is what i let her do when I'm riding her. she is free. that is what horses should be, all the time, not stuck in arenas and riding schools. horses are so much better to be privately owned, not ridden vby one person, then the next. they deserve to be fully loved by one person, cared for by them and have time spent with them buy them. every horse needs a kid, every kid needs a horse.
nobody really knows what is special about horses. it might be how they are so eager to be your friend but dont know how, it might be how they look or move. i guess its all up to you. to me, horses are my friend and companion and i dont know how my life would be without them!!!
the most special thing of a horse is beauty, love, bonding and power
The horse is the 11th most intelligent animal on earth. it can move it's body through 6 different paces and can learn to move each leg at different aids. The horse can see all the way around it's body, all though it has a blind spot directly in front of them. My mare is a beginner, but take Michael Godding for instance. He obviously thinks that all equids (members of the horse family) are very unique and he trains them, owns them, teaches, and is a famous horse whisperer. for further info, search Michael Godding.
At first glance it would be easy to say their beautiful, sleek coats or their large, expressive eyes but it's murch more than that. Their exterior beauty is undeniable, but their spirit is what makes them stand out. They have such big hearts and are so forgiving and loving. For us who spend a lifetime loving these large animals, we know they do much more for us than we do for them. One of the wisest sayings ever uttered was 'There is something about the ouside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man'.
