Our Australian Shepherd loves a 14" Jolly Ball. He uses it both by himself and interactively with his humans. It is large enough that he can shoulder into it and herd it all up and down our drive, which he will do, including up the slope of the driveway. His favorite game is to drive it toward us so we can kick it away so he can get herd it back again. Tennis balls in one of those Lacrosse like launchers are also a good choice, but he makes it very clear his first preference is the Jolly Ball. A yard where the dog can run with this is essential. It is amazing the way he weaves and works the ball.
