Cob horses are a type of horse and live all over the world.
Trakehners are warmblood type horses and therefore tend to be slow gallopers, they average 14-15 mph.
Most stock type breeds are suited to ranch work such quarter horses, paints, appaloosa's etc. These horses are strong, hardy and bred for working cows and strenuious work.
Various types of horses can be trained to pull carriages, but popular breeds include Clydesdales, Percherons, Haflingers, and Friesians. These breeds are known for their strength, stamina, and calm temperaments, making them well-suited for carriage driving.
A mini horse is a scaled down miniature version of a full sized horse. They are not a riding breed, but can pull carts. Miniature horses should never be confused with Shetland ponies. As for ' meaty and beefy' horses, there really is no such thing. In some countries draft type horses are raised for meat production, but in many other countries there is no specific type of horse used for meat.
