A good design for a cubes and coroplast guinea pig cage typically involves creating a spacious enclosure with a solid coroplast base and using cube grids to build the walls of the cage. It's important to include multiple levels for added enrichment, ramps for easy access, and hiding spots for privacy. Ensure adequate ventilation and make it easy to clean by providing a secure, removable top.

Mice have an incredible sense of smell, so the scent of Bounce dryer sheets may repel mice in the short term. However, you should not depend on them as a long-term solution. The smell will likely only deter them from the immediate area, but they won't travel far. They are very curious little creatures and eventually will learn that the sheets are harmless, and they will lose their overall affect.
Coroplast sheets can typically be found at hardware stores, sign supply shops, or online retailers. Cubes, such as storage cubes or wire cubes, can be purchased at stores like Walmart, Target, or home organization stores.
The same exact reasons you'd use sheets in the first place. The camo pattern is just a color/pattern choice. Nobody in a tactical environment is going to have a tactical bed which they put camoflage sheets on.
A C&C cage is really called a cubes and coroplast cage. The cubes part is the wired organizational racks that you can make shelves out of. Coroplast is thebrand name of a corrugated plastic that comes in different colors and different sized sheets. To make a C&C cage you cut slits in the corners of the Coroplast (you can use any type of corrugated plastic) and fold them up so that you get a shallow box. The wired "cubes" come with connectors that you attach to the shelves to make kind of a fence around the Coroplast box. If you trace around the fence before you cut the Coroplast, and then add 6 inches to each side and the top and bottom, then cut 6 inches deep on the corners, the box will fit perfectly inside of the fence. If you don't want a C&C cage, then you can always go with the Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat, which I have and is very nice and spacious. For more information go to cavycages.com
