I'm not sure where you can find that specific Whiskas advert from the early to mid-1990s online. You may have some luck searching on video sharing platforms like YouTube or contacting Whiskas directly to inquire about their historical ad archives.
The Whiskas company use very low quality, cheap ingredients in their food. The dry food is packed with grains and cereals that offer no nutritional value whatsoever to a cat or kitten, and the wet food has a very low meat content. Typically Whiskas' foods only state 4% meat, as this is the minimum required to put on a pet food can/pouch/bag. This gives them freedom to throw in much cheaper meats without having to legally state them in the ingredients list, and these "extra" meats can be from a completely different animal (or animals). It is not difficult to assume that the actual meat content varies wildly from batch to batch because of this. Big "cheap" store brands like Whiskas only have "Meat Derivatives (min 4%)" as the first ingredient and only meat-based protein source. "Derivatives" are the leftover bits of an animal such as feet, fur, feathers, lungs, intestines etc. which results in poor quality food and extremely low nutritional value. The dry food pieces (like most dry foods) are sprayed with fat and other flavourings so they are more appetising to the cat. Cats will eat whatever they believe to be tasty, and are naturally drawn to strong smells and flavours that cheaper foods will include - solely to entice the cat to eat. The best cat foods are the ones with a very high, named meat content (labelled as Chicken, Turkey, Rabbit, Lamb, Tuna, etc.) as the FIRST ingredient with no grains, wheat, corn or any other cereals. Be sure to keep away from Ingredients such as grain, corn, wheat gluten, various sugars as they serve no nutritional value to the cat whatsoever. Don't force your cat to eat the cheapest company brand. Many cats will eat low quality foods because they taste food, but taste doesn't always equal quality.
Gretchen Rossi is in the Whiskas cat food commercial. She is the blonde girl in the commercial where there is a guide at the door.
Whiskas is a leading brand of cat food in the UK. They are particularly well known for their slogan 'Eight out of ten owners said their cat prefers it'.
There are many flavours of Whiskas cat food, but none can be claimed as "popular flavours". The different flavours are under the categories of meats and fish.

Hello, its pathetic but you dont get quality cat food in India. I stay in bangalore and we get Whiskas here among other newer brands like Drools. Theres IAMS too but its just special cat formula and stuff like that. I feed my adult cat whiskas only because i have no choice. But, i feel guilty of it considering it's international standards rank it one of the bad foods for cats. So if you know where to find wellness cat food please let me know.
