There will be a drastic imbalance of herbivorous animals, to the point that the plant life will not be able to support such large numbers of animals. These prey animals will also become more complacent, and will even start to compete with humans for plant resources, coming onto farms and raiding crops.

Pretty much what will happen to the forests and animals if the tiger disappeared will be the same thing that happened when wolves were exterminated from Yellowstone National Park many years ago before a number of wolves from Canada were moved to Yellowstone to help start to control the elk and bison populations.

if the siberian tiger becomes extinct. the rise in herbavors would increase. and with nothing to kill them they would start eating off all the vegetation. Causing more of the wild life to deplete. ultimately causing the whole ecosystem to collapse in on itself.

Do tigers live in the forest or the rainforest?

Tigers live in areas where there is a lot of cover and plenty of prey (food). Their habitat are in mountain ranges and forest. For the Bengal Tigers, they are found mostly in the Himalayas and its surrounding forest. For the Sumatran Tigers, they can be found in the jungles (forest) in the Island of Sumatra in Indonesia, South China Tigers can be found in the mountain ranges and forest of South China.
