You can find a dog in your local animal shelter, which is your best bet. They have a variety, mostly mutts if you don't mind that. These are good dogs that may have been abandoned and need a second chance. You can find out the reason they have been admitted to the shelter just by asking the staff. I suggest you adopt from an animal shelter rather than buy from a pet store. Pet stores get puppies from puppy mills, which are inhumane and have unhealthy puppies. Don't support the puppy mills, because they will continue to run if you give them your support and you will end up with a sick puppy.

∙ 11y agoWell there are mostly dogs in kennels but if you know anyone that breeds that type of dog you want, ask them.
If that isn't the type of dog you want look on the internet for the type of dog you want and who breeds them, but if it's 2 hours or more away from your house scrap it because little pups don't like long car journeys!
