Originally, dogs were meant to live in the wild, so outside. Some people would argue, though, that because of how domesticated and tamed dogs have become, they should now be indoors.

Yes dogs can live outside. But bigger dogs are best for living outside. Smaller dogs like yorkies or poodles should not be left outside especially at night. They are too small to live outside and they don't have that kind of fur. Hope this Helped! :)

How do dogs live in the ecosystem?

Humans have mostly made domesticated dogs more or less useless in ecosystems, but when they kill other animals such as rodents, birds and cats, they are being secondary (sometimes tertiary) consumers. When they die and we bury them, the nitrogen in their bodies is returned to the earth, and can be usurped by plants.

What kind of dog can live outside and does not a shed?

No dog should live outside, dogs are domesticated animals and as such live in a pack, which is you or your family. All dogs shed, but to varying degrees. Short haired dogs DO shed. Dogs with hair instead of fur, such as poodles, generally shed much less. These types of dogs are most definitely not suited for outdoor living.
