Teaches better than worksheets
Not cruel
The animals already died
It is more humane that cutting up a human
Humans are animals
It has been taught in schools for many years.
Students who are uncomfortable with it are usually allowed to opt out.
Simulations are not good enough
Most computers can't run a dynamic dissection simulation
Dissection gives experience to those in the medical field
Hands on experience is the best option
The animals don't suffer, they are already dead :/
No, animal control officer should not be capitalized. Only proper nouns should be capitalized in any sentence such President Obama.
The proper way for a veterinarian to take care of an animal depends on the animal in question. Generally, though, the vet should thoroughly examine the animal, checking for illnesses and health problems. The vet should also make helpful recommendations to the animal's owner, suggesting things such as foods the animal should be eating, or any medications the animal should be on.
When approaching a downed animal that appears to be dead, one should wait a short distance away from the animal and see if the eyes blink.
Specimen preparation for stereo dissection microscopes typically involves selecting and positioning the sample to ensure optimal viewing. Specimens should be clean and, if necessary, dissected or sectioned to expose relevant structures. Mounting the specimen on a stable platform, such as a microscope stage or slide, may enhance stability and focus. Additionally, proper lighting and contrast techniques can improve visibility for detailed examination.
Opinion 1:There is no reason why horse racing SHOULD NOT be banned. But there are many reasons why it SHOULD be banned. Here are some: cruelty to animals;against animal rights;entertainment for people at the horse's expense;horse is in pain;horses have to die;horses are being whipped;horses are sad;horses are being abused;horses can not speak for themselves; andhorses are unhappyOpinion 2:It shouldn't be banned altogether, but definitely limitations need to be put on. There are whipping laws (well at least there are here in Australia), but they should be implemented throughout the world. Steeplechase and suicidal things like that should definitely be banned, but flat racing has nowhere near as many risks as jumps. As to the horses being abused and unhappy, how do you know? Just look at So You Think (one of Australia's best horses) in the winners circle. He's enjoying himself. And most horses, definitely thoroughbreds love galloping. Opinion 3:Horse racing should NOT be banned. Regulations as to the number of horses vs. the width of the track or something like that should be put on, and certainly whip laws should be made though. Opinion 4:If horse racing were banned there would be little incentive for anybody to breed horses. Sure, some horses would still be kept as livestock but the thoroughbred bloodline would predictably decline in the absence of race-proven sires and dams. Domestic animals need to serve a function or there is little point in raising them. If nobody raises them, there is no future for their progeny. Banning racing would have the unintended consequence of reducing the population of horses and would ultimately lead to the extinction of racing breeds. Arguing that horse racing should be banned because it makes horses unhappy and is against 'animal rights' presumes a level of anthropomorphism that most humans will not accept. A ban on horse racing would never be accepted because the industry provides employment to so many people and revenue to local economies and taxes to government.
The Bible never should be banned from public schools! Everyone is allowed to read it and study it!
Twilight should not be banned from schools because it is the best movie and book ever and it is not that bad for our kids to read!!!!!!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont think it should
yes!
That's really a matter of opinion, rather than a straight answer. I believe it should not be banned. We can learn a lot from the inside of a frog. As long as animals are treated humanely, and dissection is done only by students at an appropriate level and track of study, then there is no question that dissection should continue. Heres Why: 1.virtual dissection doesnt have the full reality 2.real dissection gives hands-on experience 3.gives experience for students following the medical field 4.cheaper:dont have to upgrade on new technology for virtual dissection Other opinion: I believe that Dissections should be banned and that if people want to dissect something, that they should have a course specifically for the people who want to see or smell the nasty guts of a frog or the nastiness of a worm or the eggs in a grasshopper.
Animal dissection is not necessarily bad, it is a matter of opinion. Many don't like the idea of taking an animal's life for something like dissection. Many believe that animals should not be dissected in schools, because there is other ways to teach students without taking an animal's life. There has also been reports of animals being dissected while still alive and conscious for certain studies, which would cause an animal great pain and suffering.

No
Well, I can't really answer this questions and stating it as a fact because it requires an opinion of someone. But, if it were me making the decision, I would not ban the dissection of animals because it teaches students about the animal body and acquires useful information. But, circumstances would apply. I would not allow animals close to extinction be dissected and no big animals, such as dogs or wolves or bears or animals in that size and up. I would allow animals such as the original frog, worms, fish, cow brains (cows that have already died of old age or of disease.) pig brains, hearts, mice, birds, etc. Dissection of animals is also necessary because let's say if a sickness was going around and it was only occurring in animals, you would need to dissect the animal to get the information you need to stop it from getting into a human. So when you really look at it, dissection is necessary. :) But again, this is just my opinion. :) -MooMay17
no because there will be riots if this happens
Religious slaughter of animals should not be banned. Especially Muslim method of slaughtering should not be banned, because it compulsory for them to follow it . It should be banned, it is disgusting how humans think they are superior and can do anything they want. Animals have rights too, and I don't care if humans are more powerful. If an animal kills a human, the animal is killed, but if a human kills an animal, it doesn't matter. Have some empathy people. Be fair.
