One reason is it can grow rapidly. A virus is much like the way people evulved. Not all at once did we go from being cavemen to our present day. It starts with someone learning something than their lifetime runs out, than the next person picks up we the previous left off and continues to carry it and grow to the next level until they die off and hand the baton to the next and so on and so on.

So a virus grows in that manner but at a much quicker rate. Depending on the virus the time may vary.

Are houseflies harmful to humans?

Houseflies can be harmful to humans as they are known to carry and transmit various pathogens, including bacteria and viruses, which can lead to foodborne illnesses. They can contaminate food and surfaces by depositing feces and vomit, which may contain harmful microorganisms. While they do not bite or pose a direct threat like some insects, their role as disease vectors makes them a concern for public health. Maintaining cleanliness and proper food storage can help mitigate their impact.

Why are housefly harmful to humans?

Houseflies are harmful to humans primarily because they can carry and transmit various pathogens, including bacteria and viruses, that cause diseases such as gastroenteritis and food poisoning. They feed on decaying organic matter and feces, picking up harmful microorganisms on their bodies and legs, which they can then spread to food and surfaces. Additionally, their rapid reproduction and ability to thrive in unsanitary conditions can exacerbate public health issues.
