Box Jellyfish have some of the most deadly venom in the world, therefore the amount of animals able to prey on the them is limited. The biggest predator to the box jellyfish is the sea turtle, (the venom does not affect the turtle because it is protected by its shell). However the sea turtle does not solely rely on the box jellyfish for food, so the box jelly fish is generally safe. It also has a wide variety of food available to it since its venom is so deadly and hardly any animals can defend against it. If the box jellyfish went extinct, many species of organisms would increase due to the loss of a great predator.
Box jellies are number one on that list.
Humans have bones, jellyfish don't. Jellyfish are see through, humans aren't. Jellyfish will evaporate in the sun, humans won't. Jellyfish live under water, humans don't. Jellyfish have stinging tentacles, humans don't. Humans have different organs than jellyfish and allot more.
Jellyfish do not have backbones therefore they are known as invertebrates. Jellyfish belong to the to the phylum Cnidaria group of species.
bluebottle jellyfish do not have backbones. in fact, all jellyfish do not have backbones. even though they are called jellyFISH they are invertebrates.
the most dangerous animal out at sea is a shark I think it is a Box jellyfish, They killed more people than any other sea creature in the world. They duplicate and are up to billions of box jellyfish. They say one day they will rule the sea's.They have more powerful stings than any other sea creature.Scientists thought jellyfish had no brain but really they are the brain. Something about that makes there stings very powerful. They also have eyes and somehow that's what makes them come towards shore.Scientist aren't exacly sure yet.
Yes, the box jellyfish IS a true jellyfish.

The box jellyfish belongs to the phylum of Cnidaria. The class for the box jellyfish is Cubozoa and the order is carybdeida.
box jellyfish = "Pololia" or "pa'imalau"
