They don't have thumbs.

Animal anatomy is one reason why animals don't make food in the way that human food preparation takes place. As an example, cats and dogs aren't used to walking around on two's instead of on all four's. Food preparation such as frying and kneading tend to require the chef to hold the spine vertically upwards.

Animal physiology is another reason. For example, animals such as the muskrat, the opossum, and the raccoon have more human like front and hind paws. But even they aren't used to using their finger and toe like projections to toss Pizza dough or scramble eggs. And oftentimes, food preparation and processing tends to draw upon the presence and use of thumbs.

Animal responsibilities within their environment are still another reason. Some animals are plant eaters, some meat eaters, and some either. But they tend to have specific dietary needs that are met within their own particular food chains. It's a kill and eat or killed and be eaten situation. There's not much time for preparation when animals eat on the run.

And animal traditions are yet another reason. Evolution is suggested as taking place throughout the world through key survival choices. But a turn to food preparation isn't one of the evolutionary choices that animals make. They choose to eat human prepared and processed food as pets, and from garbage in the wild. But nothing thus far suggests that animals will make the jump from eating their food sources as is, to picking up preparatory and processing skills. Such a leap requires a changed anatomy, changed body functions, and changed way of acquiring and applying skills.
