because like most things, cells have a limit as to how big or small they can be. they cannot be too small, or they will not have room for all their parts. they cannot be to big, or oxygen and other materials will not be able to reach the middle of the cell fast enough to keep the cell alive. also, waste must be able to leave.
NOTE: ( i got this info from my science book )
A rabbit with small ears has small ears and a rabbit with big ears has big ears.
They are small
Earthworms have a very simple nervous system and their brain is not as structured or centralized as in other organisms. Their brain is made up of a series of ganglia, small clusters of nerve cells, which are located throughout their body. Overall, the earthworm's brain is very small in size.

Paneth cells are one of the four principal cells that represent the epithelium of the small intestines. Paneth cells are attached to stem cells and may play an important role in protecting them.
Cells could only hold so much volume. If it is too big or too small the cell will not be able to function or work right.
The vacuole.
surface tension of plasma membrane
The surface area-to-volume ratio of the cell.
cells are small because cells needs to transport materials in and out smoothly or else if they were big they wouldn't live
The surface area-to-volume ratio of the cell.
the checs are small and the muscles are big
No. Instead animal cells have several small vacuoles, or none at all.
big small nasty wigley organ ........
there are no limits because a cell is as small as it can be already or it can grow bigger
I think it's have big cells.Althought ants is very small.
u may c a big bunglow made up of small bricks and the same goes with the small cells making up an organism
