Why does any breed of dog bite a person? Because they have not been properly socialized nor obedience work done. Every dog has to respect his owner & humans in general. Of course different breeds can vary in their natural aggressiveness but still all of this can be properly trained into the right direction with proper obedience work done as soon as you can plus socialization. Find a good obedience class near you, check with your Veterinarian or local Animal Shelter. Join your local dog club. If the dog is biting you, do something about it! Taking daily walks on lead (6 ft.) with choke chain (measure around the neck & add 2" for proper size) works wonders but first learn how to properly walk your dog. Daily exercise can do so much good for the dog and you too.

Bulldogs only puppy bite when they are obviously puppies. Like any other puppy, they do not mean to hurt you, they just want to play. Baby bulldogs do not understand you are human, not a dog. Bulldogs are actually very family loving dogs, not mean as stereotypes suggest. I myself have a bulldog and I love him so much. I hope this clears up some stereotypical thoughts.~Alyssa19~
