Well, I'll tell ya how the dogs got here in the first place and why the sniff other dogs crackhole/ring.. sometimes their own. At the start all the dogs were in a hall, with their rings and these hooks hanging down from the ceiling. The dogs garbbed their ring/crackhole outta their arse and put their ring on a hook, but then the hall started to catch on fire so the dogs just grabbed any ring/crackhole and ran out. But unluckily no one got their own ring/crackhole. So from now on every dog sniffs another dogs arse to see if it is their ring. One day your dog will find it's right ring and start to get it out in a playing humpy way. 10 weeks ago my dog found it's right ring and grabbed it out. My dog is really happy now because it's the only dog in the world with one. :)
Oh by the way this is a completely true story that my daddy told me when I was 5, I really enjoyed it and now wished I was a dog. >:)
Hope you like my true story of why dogs lick other dogs crack hole and decide to do happy thing, thanks for listenning! >:)
Dogs sniff each others butts because it is their way of saying hello

They have special scent glands in their anal region that produce a unique odor that carries important social and health information.
