There not really eating them they are trying to get the oxygen out of them so that they can survive if they are doing this unless they are a betta fish it probably means there isnt enough oxygen in the tank for them which usually happens if you have a fish in a tank to small for it or have to many fish in one tank you probably want to upgrade your tank or get rid of some fish if they are doing this. Also if you dont have a filter for the tank get one! it will help add oxygen to the water and is necessary for almost any fish to survive.

∙ 10y agoFrom what I've heard goldfish make bubblenests. Little groups of bubbles that stick together. A female goldfish will then lay eggs in that and the male will take care of the offspring. Maybe it's just following that instinct.
once they die,all the air bubbles in them help them float to the top!
Just like in your fish tank you have to clean it out so when you do you either do that often so you can get air in the water or you haves bubbler so in the ocean it has rivers making bubbles constantly or even the rain will do it
They blow air bubbles which may mean a sign of lack of air or they may be pregnant and are making a nest for the eggs.
Some kind
He is making a solution of the air and his spit, so that he can better detect what is in the air. It's totally normal.
yes bubbles help bring air to the fish and keep the water moving
Pufferfish do not swallow air ... they suck in water to swell up. They can then spit it back out whenever they want.
Hehe. You place a huge amount of spit along your mouth opening and slowly blow out air. And you have to keep you mouth a bit open too.
The machine used in fish tanks that makes bubbles is called an air pump or air stone. It add oxygen to the water and keeps the oils from coating the tank.
Because they need it. They can't actually breathe out of water so they need things like filters or the back of boats to make air bubbles
MY DAD HAS HAD ALOT OF FISH AND I HAVE SEEN BUBBLES COMING OUT OF THEIR GILLS BEFORE, IT USUALLY MEANS THAT THEY HAVE ALOT OF AIR COMING INTO THEIR LUNGS SO IT MAKE BUBBLES WHEN THEY BREATHE OUT.
No, because Bettas can breathe air directly from the surface.
light rays before striking the air bubbles have to travel through water. these light rays which strike the air bubbles at angles greater than critical angle for water-air surface are totally reflected and it is because of these reflected rays that the air bubbles appear silvery.
The dragon fish breaths in air from the water so keep the tank well filtered, or have air bubbles.
The bubbles are water vapour (ie steam) bubbles, not air. Therefore any heating of water back up to boiling point will renew the process of water vapour bubbles occurring.
To remove the air bubbles, open the stopcock and the air bubbles will remove
Not all cooked food float in soup. Fish balls are made from fish paste. There are tiny air bubbles trapped inside the paste. When they are cooked, the air bubbles made the fish ball lighter and as a result, the fish balls float in soup.So the fish balls will float in the soup . :D
